PICS: Superdry sparkle alumni mini Bag

Christmas present from my lovely other half Aaron <3
My new Mini Superdry bag.. I love how girly and sparkly it is and it's just the right size for my phone, ipad and purse! Granted not mass amounts of space for much more but hey what else do i need ha ha.
Its a leather front with the Superdry logo on the front in glitter. On the reverse side it's full black sequins with a clear pocket to put your details in if you want.

Flawless Skin using BB cream

                                                            Nivea BB Cream

 photo niveabb.jpg
I have never really understood the hype about BB cream but I decided to give the Nivea BB cream a go this week as I am a fan of their products anyway. WOW I was pretty amazed at what it did for my skin!

It claims to even out skin tone, and also to brighten your skin and I really thought it achieved that!
If I am having a bit of a lazy day and I don't need to do full make up and just want a dewy, clear complexion this BB cream is great!

Now I am naturally very pale but I still used the medium to dark one and it gave my skin a nice bronzed glow (as long as you don't over do it).

Before: Uneven Skin tone and dark around the eye area

After: Bronzed and glowing (no other foundation/fixing powder used on the face just added eye makeup)

Superdry Christmas Jacket

Shop shop shop!
Superdry Superdry how i love my Superdry.. I am a massive fan of pretty much all of their items. However, my favourite items in particular from their shop are for sure the jackets.
Now i already have a few of their jackets but it has become a bit of a tradition at Christmas to treat myself to a new one.
The designs of superdry are more unique and original than what you might find in places such as New Look and H&M so for me it's an instant win anyway..
So far i have the bomber jacket, the military jacket and now my new purchase is the "Superdry sport Jacket". Pictures below:
 photo superdryjacket.jpg photo superdryjacketback.jpg
I absolutely love the wine colour and I am extremely impressed with how warm it is and how soft the inside is! Currently at £75 this is a great coat for those cold months..
Even though i bought this is in the shop it is worth looking online as for some reason they will have big sales online but not in the store? Anyway, Happy shopping!
Can't find my colour on the website but here is a link to the coat: http://www.superdry.com/womens/jackets/details/44843/sports-toggle-puffer

Tassimo Fidelia Review

Tassimo Christmas Surprise!

I have wanted one of these machines for so long now and decided I would try find one in the January sales.
To my surprise however, my Mum was a step ahead and she got one for me on Christmas day with a whole load of the Tassimo pods yaayy!

 photo 10556374_10152435648895940_2670489152454810603_n.jpg
Following the instructions, it was a simple set up.. but due to the fact it was the first time i suppose it was a little time consuming sorting the filter and everything but that is to be expected.

As a side note it's certainly worth registering your Tassimo machine as they tend to offer you some vouchers and discount of some sort and in this case i got 2 x £10 off my next two orders! Worth it if you ask me! The expiration date of these also has about 2 months apart per order which is great so you are not rushed to purchase more when you don't need them!

Best flavour so far: Suchards hot chocolate
                                Twinings breakfast tea

And i really want to try the caramel latte but it was not included in my pack (BOO) but i have ordered some new flavours to try out!

What i love especially about these particular models, is they all have such a modern look to them.
I got mine in black.
As soon as you turn it on and pop the pods in the machine, it is ready to go and the water does not take long to heat up.
The screen also words what you need to do so very simple...good for when you have just woken up ha ha.

Overall a great product and would recommend to anyone wanting a quick and easy way to get a delicious drink!

P.s. Tends to be deals on throughout the year so you can end up getting one for around £50! Bargain!

So it's the time of year where hot chocolate is an essential drink of the day.. but does anyone else think that hot chocolates from the well known chocolate brands tend to be more disappointing?
I have tried so many from Malteser to Galaxy and Cadburys but none seem to live up to the name!
Last year I had a slight obsession with Costa Black Forest Hot chocolates but it was pretty expensive in the end so I went on the hunt to replicate it.
I decided to treat myself and bought Green and Blacks hot chocolate powder as I heard a few people saying how good it was and WOW I was not disappointed.

This is how to get the perfect hot chocolate..

4 teaspoons of the powder mixed with hot milk
Squirty cream on top
sprinkle of chocolate flakes
dribble raspberry coulis over the top but just abit (optional but so good)

New Hair september 2014

photo newhair.jpgMy new hair! Really chuffed with it! Had about an inch taken off the length and re shaped around my face with a bit of a "long fringe" put in so i could flick it back. I also had a new colour put on and although this picture doesn't really show it i've had a subtle ombre put through the ends. Colour combo below:
For anyone into the Hairdresser Chat we used the colours wella, koleston -- 8/43 with 6% on the roots to about just below my nose and then we used 12/1+ 12% with a sprinkle of bleach to give it a boost on the mid lengths and then right on the ends we used bleach + 6% and mashed the colours together at different heights to knock out any lines! Love the outcome very happy with it :)

Review Oral B 3d white glamorous shine

I am always trying out different brands of toothpaste and I am constantly dissapointed with the results each time.
I am a hhuuggeee coffee drinker so as you can imagine i need a good whitening toothpaste to remove those stains!
The oral b 3d white glamorous shine was something i bought in mini for my holiday. It happened to be on offer so i went for it.
I started using it and for the first couple of days it was like any other toothpaste not much different, had a nice taste to it but that's about it. On the third day i started to notice a BIG difference in my teeth! They were definitely whiter and just looked healthier somehow!
I kept using it and it's now been about 2 weeks using this stuff and i have fallen in love!
Don't get me wrong they don't magically turn your teeth bright white or anything but they deffinately remove stains and give you a whiter, brighter smile! Give it ago see what you think!

23rd August 2014

Does anyone else get that unsettled feeling once they have returned from a really fantastic holiday?
We have the most amazing time out in Agadir and it's hard to get back to reality now!
Rainy days and cold winds, I was quick to get back into work due to being self employed, infact i started the day after we returned from holiday.
Aaron had another week off and it was his first day back today but luckily it was a training day so he didn't find it too bad.
We have been desperately saving and saving for a house as our living situation is only temporary at the moment.
We have been together for over 3 years now and have never actually lived just me and him. It's either been with my mum or now with my brother.
Financially, this really helps us get some money together but we really want to try living on our own for abit before life gets really hectic! And i think that's important for any couple too...

We are also wanting to take Aarons neices on holiday somewhere in England as there is a new arrival on Aarons side of the family so we think it would be helpful for the mum to have some one on one time with the new baby..Where is a good place to take a 4 and 6 year old on holiday? Lake District maybe?

Any help would be great :)

Riu Tikida Dunas Hotel Review -- Agadir

So even though i wrote a quick blog about the holiday, i wanted to write an in depth review on the hotel we stayed at incase anyone is looking for one in the area. So first a picture is always good and although i personally didn't get one of the whole grounds, i have found one that is the most accurate to what you will see when you get there.. photo tikidadunas.jpg

Now, first off i will give you a little heads up on the weather, we were fortunate and the temperature was around 38 degrees celcius near enough everyday which is not uncommon in September.
However, i got a speaking to the reps and they said that the week before it had been cloudy and rainy and not very hot which again is apparently common in august which i find strange! So they said the best time to go is September through to December.

What i liked most about this hotel is it stuck very much to the Moroccon theme in decoration and layout throughout the hotel. A lot of hotels i looked at had been refurbed but extremely modern and i don't feel like it gives it the same appeal. If your in a different country you want to feel like you are..atleast in my opinion.

We were greeted by staff the moment we got off the bus and they explain to go to reception, leave you bag, and a member of staff will carry it up the room for us..instant love for this place we all get treat like royalty! However we are not royalty so we just took our own bags to give the staff a break it was like 2am!

We had a meeting the next day with the reps to gather our bearing, know about the different restaurants, learn about the excursions etc. To our suprise all the managers of the different areas of the hotel also turned up to introduce themselves which i personally thought was a nice touch.

Excursions were booked with ease. Never had any problems bar our last day where we got a driver that was late, twice and quite moody but the boss of the excursions seemed to have firm words with him without us actually saying anything.

The bedrooms were very basic, quite bare but when we walked in they had actually put rose petals on the bed and made the towels into swans and really made it special for us and we were impressed.
There was the odd cracked towel however they are due to refurb in october so all that will be changing.

The pools were incredible..huge and lots of sunbeds for people though unfortunately people would put towels on them at ridiculous times in the morning so you might not always get a good spot.
Pools are extremely cold though but once your in you soon get used to it!

There are 3 restaurants.. moroccan grill, Italian and normal buffet. A lot of variety for the food, and i especially liked the breakfast with there being full english or coissants or fruit so something for everyone. Only thing i would say is it would probably benefit from being a bit warmer as by the time you've found a seat, got a drink and picked the food you want you find your food on the colder side.

The staff are great and there is ALOT of them as soon as you put an empty cup down they get it straight away it's really impressive. As a side note, the language barrier can make things slightly difficult as English is not a main language of theirs they infact speak mainly french however for the most part it's not an issue.

There is a little shop inside the hotel selling cigs, drinks, magazines, souveniers and all that stuff which all comes at a suprisingly good price.

£8 roughly 100 dirhams. £80 roughly £1000.

There is also a salon, prices again are not completely insane however all treatments in a hotel salon can be quite pricey. If you want a nice massage they offer an excursion for a 2 hour massage for roughly £26! Bargain!

The Beach is also about a 3 second walk from the door it is literally next to the beach which is great for anyone into jet skiing or sunbathing, plenty of space.

Overall i would definately recommend this hotel especially for couples or families..maybe not fantastic for the older couples due to the size of the hotel.

Our trip to Morocco -- Agadir

Me and Aaron have just returned from our one week holiday to Agadir, Morocco and we have absolutely loved it!
The weather was blistering heat it was around 38 degrees celcius and with me being so pale i burnt quite badly on the first day but did not let it ruin my holiday!
We went all inclusive and it was brilliant! We stayed at the Riu Tikida Dunas hotel and  it's a 4 star platinum hotel whatever that means but the food and drink was top quality!
We find it pretty impossible to just lounge around all day so we did an excursion about 5 out of the 7 days to get a taste of Morocco..

Day 1 was a chill day and a day to book all our trips!

Day 2 -- Dune Buggies! The funnest thing EVER we both got a chance to drive the buggy and we drove down to the beach, over dunes, saw goats along the way and best of all got to go really fast..
 photo dunebuggies.jpg
Day 3 -- 2 hour argan oil massage all for the price of roughly £26 how amazing is that?! We got to lie next to eachother whilst having it done which we thought would be romantic but just got the giggles ha ha

Day 4 -- Go Karting -- This was ace but by far the scariest for me as you go insanely fast and i spun off on the practice run hitting the edge of the track and didn't dare go fast after that!
 photo ggokart.jpg
Day 5 -- Walk to the Marina -- This is a modern area of shops and cafes which we thought we would like to have a look at. It was a hours walk from our hotel but we didn't really see anything we liked..the walk was nice though!.

Day 6 -- Tree Adventure -- This is where you are attached by a harness doing different activies high up..There are different difficulties but we did get the level 5 (the last level) i started to get really freaked out as its about 15ft in the air and the harness starts to feel not so quite effective when ur so high up! Enjoyed it though!
 photo treeadventure.jpg
Day 7 -- Chill day -- We were returning that day so we relaxed ate and drank a lot of just relaxed untill our flight home :)

Overall i would recommend Agadir as a place to visit, whether you are just wanting to sunbathe all week or do activities like us! Agadir has something for everyone!

How to save money!

Wanting a deposit on a house? A new car? Or simply want to save for a rainy day but find you have nothing left at the end of the month to put away? Well keep on reading..Here are afew tips that help me when I need to save for something..

1. Try to not keep any cash on you -- Cash is so easy to spend! Using your card makes you think twice so try to keep a very minimal amount, if any cash on you.

2. Shop wisely -- Even if it's a food shop just buy the essentials. Don't buy the most expensive brands for everything go cheap!

3. Don't treat yourself so much! This may sound bad but you gotta do what you gotta do if you want more money and if you can go without that £30 dress then do it!

4. Set up a savings account -- Set up a direct debit each month to go into a savings account, if you can put more away that month then do it manually. You can also make it fixed so you can't withdraw the money for a certain length of time, but do what is right for you.

5. Now I live on my own, I am so careful about bills and I switch off all the plugs I am not using at that time. It has saved me nearly £40 a month just doing that!
I do not use a tumble dryer, I let everything air dry which again saves a huge amount of money.

6. If you own a car, then every year look online for a new insurance as you can end up saving yourself a fortune!

7. Rather than going straight for the heating, get yourself a onesie! We all have one at home and it keeps you so toasty and cuts the cost of  gas/electricity!

Hope these tips have helped :) Let me know if you have any tips which help you save!

Donkey Sanctuary

If you knew me, you would know that I have such a love for all animals! It doesn't matter what type of animal they are (apart from sharks -- biggest fear ever).
We randomly decided to go to the Donkey Sanctuary, Leeds as something to do more than anything.
It was surprisingly quiet.. Infact, it was only me, my dad and my brother in the entire place. There was a plus side to this though and a man who worked there lead us round and told us a little bit of what this place is all about.
He explained that not only do they rescue the donkeys (tbh that's what I thought the donkey sanctuary was) but they also allow children with disabilities to see them and have a ride on them which has fantastic benefits to their health.
Also, what I found funny was they take a selected donkey to elderly peoples homes as a way of pet therapy. Can you imagine?! a donkey just turning up at your door ha ha.
But the more I stayed with them the more relaxed I felt! They are very calm creatures to be around as they are quite slow and chilled.
I found it sad that this place wasn't more popular as they completely rely on donations from the public. They have no other help whatsoever financially. They have childrens play areas right next to where all the donkeys are, they have grooming days, food, picnic area and have really tried to make it a special place.
I was so impressed -- I ended up "Adopting a Donkey". Of course, this does not mean I am taking one home ha ha but it is a yearly donation towards the upkeep of the grounds and the welfare of the donkeys..so here he is.

Abused from a young age, William D is now a lovely placid sweetheart who loves his food and is going to live the rest of his life happy and loved in the Donkey Sanctuary...£24 well spent me thinks :)

Perfume Favourites

 photo doiasasgn555940_4996079319484611850_n.jpg

Firstly I should apologise massively for the finger prints on these perfume bottles I thought I could edit them out but never mind ha ha makes it all the more personal I suppose!

These are my 4 all time favourite perfumes I have been using this last year and I love them all!

Now I don't know about you, but personally I don't really wear strong perfumes throughout the day as I find them to be a bit over powering, but for a night out a powerful scent is essential!
Through the day I am using a body mist by Gilly Hicks in the scent Blue Camden which my boyfriend got me last Christmas and it smells lush!
On the picture above, from left to right we have Ghost Deep night, Alien by Thierry Mugler, Black XS and Angel by Thierry Mugler.

Ghost -- This is classed as a floral scent which I wouldn't agree with myself as the flowery scent doesn't come through too much to me.. It has rose, vanilla, amber and white wood which are the top notes that come through for me. 7/10

Alien -- This scent by Thierry Mugler is my all time favourite and I will definitely be buying this again when it runs out. It's the one perfume I can spot from a mile off if someone is wearing it because there is not a smell out there like it.. This perfume contains white amber, cashmeran wood, and amber. The staying power on this is incredible though it gets 10/10 from me.

Black xs -- This scent by Paco Rabanne is meant to be a floral one but again I don't really smell that personally? It contains Black Vanilla, Cocoa Flower, and pink pepper and is quite different to the others I have as this one is less on the "woody" side of smells. 7/10

Angel -- Another by Thierry Mugler, my friend had this perfume and I had to copy because I liked it so much. This has a base of chocolate, caramel and vanilla.. every girls heaven so you can see why it is such a popular one! 8/10

Even though what it says is in the perfume to what I can actually smell is completely different ha ha I hope this post helps a little bit if you are struggling on a perfume to buy :)

My Favourite Moroccanoil Products and tips!

 photo moroccan_oil_treatment_125ml.jpg
By now, more or less everybody has heard of the Moroccanoil hair brand but has everybody tried it? I have tried all of the products from their line and would like to write about my 3 favourite products by them and why.

1. The original Moroccanoil Treatment
I know that Moroccanoil can be pricey so if you are going to buy any, this is the one I would recommend!
This product absorbs into the hair rather than just coating the cuticle, repairing the hair from the inside leaving the overall appearance of the hair smooth, shiny and healthy.
You can use it on either damp or dry hair and need a minimal amount of product making it last ages! (Mine has lasted a good 10 months so far)
If your hair is feeling particularly dry, a good trick is to put about 6-10 pumps on your hair on a night and let it absorb in. In the morning, rinse off, shampoo and condition like normal and your hair will feel so nice afterwards!
A good tip with this as well is if you colour your hair, you can put a couple of pumps of Moroccanoil into the dye mix and it will protect your hair from damage when you colour it. (This will not affect your colour in any way)

 photo moroccanoil-glimmer-shine-spray-spray-finalizador-brilho_iZ498XvZxXpZ1XfZ48212181-76451824814-1_jpgXsZ48212181xIM.jpg2. Moroccanoil Glimmer Spray
Shine sprays/glimmer sprays often don't do what they claim they can and often leave you hair either greasy or no different from before.
This product must be sprayed from quite a distance otherwise it leaves a clump of shine on your head! But once you have the hang of the distance it really is a brilliant product for making your hair shine like you have never seen before! I use it on myself and on clients and it amazes people every time. If you feel you hair lacks shine or looks dull this is definitely the right product for you.

3. Moroccanoil Hairspray

photo moroccan-voluminous-hairspray-strong.jpg As far as hairsprays go, I think cheaper ones can be just as good as expensive ones.
The hairspray isn't actually that great for hold in my opinion, however, I do still really like this as it adds a small amount of shine and is also very flexible to the point you can just brush it straight out.
I'm really liking the mini version of these too as you can just bob it in your bag for a day/night out and avoid any hair disasters!

Holiday Wishlist

Now, although I could go on and on about where I want to go I am just going to name my top 4 places that I would LOVE to see at the moment.
If I had the money I would of course travel the world...But for now my aim is to see these 4 places!

 photo rome.jpg
Italy has many Beautiful places but if I had to just pick one it would have to be the amazing city of Rome. Ever since watching "When in Rome" with the Olsen twins it became one of my top places I've always wanted to go.. Mainly for the sightseeing of the Colosseum, Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps! But of course you must try out the food there followed by some gelato!

 photo skopelosmammamia.jpgSKOPELOS
To a lot of people this place will look familiar..it is the chapel that was used to film the wedding of MAMMA MIA! And I fell in love with it as soon as I saw that movie! Now if you knew me you would know that I love Greece..I love everything from the views to the people it's such a great, calm place and I'd love to visit every island if I could but this is the main island that I want to see! I think this is going to be our next holiday in 2015!

 photo santorini.jpgSANTORINI
I know, I know this is Greece again and there is not a specific reason why I would like to go see Santorini other than the fact it looks beautiful. Afew people I know have gone here and they loved it so it's right up there on my wishlist! I like how all the buildings seemed almost stacked on eachother and it looks so pretty at night.

photo fiji.jpgFIJI Well, let's face it Fiji doesn't need much of an explanation of why I want to go it's just bloomin gorgeous! The bright yellow sandy beaches, to the aqua blue sea it would make the most uptight people chill out and relax! Although this one is on my wishlist I have a feeling it is not going to become a reality for a long time but a girl can dream!

Where are your top places you would love to see?

Method Bathroom Cleaner Review

Cleaning...Some people love it some people hate it and I am actually someone who genuinely enjoys cleaning their home. For me, there is nothing better than a home that is sparkling and smelling lovely! I have purchased the METHOD lavender multi purpose cleaner before as it was on offer so I thought I would give it ago,To my surprise I really liked it. It's a non toxic product which I liked as I have to be careful of certain products used around my dog (silly I know). I was expecting a really weak smell but the smell was strong and pleasant and it also cleaned really effectively. I then came across the METHOD bathroom cleaner and instantly wanted to buy it due to the fact it was eucalyptus mint scent which just sounds fresh and clean! photo methodbathroom.jpg
The bottle it comes in is massive, so it will last you aaaggeesss. Also, the smell is so nice! It did not disappoint! The cleaning power itself is surprisingly good as well and left my sink, toilet and bath glistening! My new favourite product for bathrooms :) Can't wait to try out more METHOD products!

La-Brasiliana Blow Drying Lotion

Straightened your hair to death? Dye it a lot? Curl it? Twist it? Over Brush it?  Yep we all do it!
This Is a product that I don't believe is widely known by people but definitely should be! It is by far my number one product!

 photo 1221-1431-large.jpg
This product is a blow drying lotion that you apply to damp hair just before drying and styling.
It penetrates the hair rather than just coating it like other products so not only does it make it smooth, but it also adds keratin and collagen to help repair any damage that may have been caused to your hair previously.
What I like about the product is it isn't sticky, you do not feel it in your hair at all however I wouldn't recommend this just before curling your hair as the curls will just drop out as your hair becomes so soft with the product.
When using this product on clients I notice a huge difference in the ease of blow drying curly hair to straight. It goes so shiny and seems to just do as I want with more ease as very curly hair likes to resist against going straight usually!
Now the price is around £24 for a bottle which I know sounds quite steep...HOWEVER I have had the same bottle for around 10 months and I use it every time I do my hair doing around 4 pumps per go and I wash my hair every other day. So even though at first it sounds pricey, it works incredibly and lasts forever which is better than a cheaper product that is not so effective and doesn't last half the time.
If you are struggling with dry ends and unruly hair this product is definitely worth a go! You will not want to use anything else!

What are your favourite products for hair? Let me know!
