New Hair september 2014

photo newhair.jpgMy new hair! Really chuffed with it! Had about an inch taken off the length and re shaped around my face with a bit of a "long fringe" put in so i could flick it back. I also had a new colour put on and although this picture doesn't really show it i've had a subtle ombre put through the ends. Colour combo below:
For anyone into the Hairdresser Chat we used the colours wella, koleston -- 8/43 with 6% on the roots to about just below my nose and then we used 12/1+ 12% with a sprinkle of bleach to give it a boost on the mid lengths and then right on the ends we used bleach + 6% and mashed the colours together at different heights to knock out any lines! Love the outcome very happy with it :)

Review Oral B 3d white glamorous shine

I am always trying out different brands of toothpaste and I am constantly dissapointed with the results each time.
I am a hhuuggeee coffee drinker so as you can imagine i need a good whitening toothpaste to remove those stains!
The oral b 3d white glamorous shine was something i bought in mini for my holiday. It happened to be on offer so i went for it.
I started using it and for the first couple of days it was like any other toothpaste not much different, had a nice taste to it but that's about it. On the third day i started to notice a BIG difference in my teeth! They were definitely whiter and just looked healthier somehow!
I kept using it and it's now been about 2 weeks using this stuff and i have fallen in love!
Don't get me wrong they don't magically turn your teeth bright white or anything but they deffinately remove stains and give you a whiter, brighter smile! Give it ago see what you think!

23rd August 2014

Does anyone else get that unsettled feeling once they have returned from a really fantastic holiday?
We have the most amazing time out in Agadir and it's hard to get back to reality now!
Rainy days and cold winds, I was quick to get back into work due to being self employed, infact i started the day after we returned from holiday.
Aaron had another week off and it was his first day back today but luckily it was a training day so he didn't find it too bad.
We have been desperately saving and saving for a house as our living situation is only temporary at the moment.
We have been together for over 3 years now and have never actually lived just me and him. It's either been with my mum or now with my brother.
Financially, this really helps us get some money together but we really want to try living on our own for abit before life gets really hectic! And i think that's important for any couple too...

We are also wanting to take Aarons neices on holiday somewhere in England as there is a new arrival on Aarons side of the family so we think it would be helpful for the mum to have some one on one time with the new baby..Where is a good place to take a 4 and 6 year old on holiday? Lake District maybe?

Any help would be great :)

Riu Tikida Dunas Hotel Review -- Agadir

So even though i wrote a quick blog about the holiday, i wanted to write an in depth review on the hotel we stayed at incase anyone is looking for one in the area. So first a picture is always good and although i personally didn't get one of the whole grounds, i have found one that is the most accurate to what you will see when you get there.. photo tikidadunas.jpg

Now, first off i will give you a little heads up on the weather, we were fortunate and the temperature was around 38 degrees celcius near enough everyday which is not uncommon in September.
However, i got a speaking to the reps and they said that the week before it had been cloudy and rainy and not very hot which again is apparently common in august which i find strange! So they said the best time to go is September through to December.

What i liked most about this hotel is it stuck very much to the Moroccon theme in decoration and layout throughout the hotel. A lot of hotels i looked at had been refurbed but extremely modern and i don't feel like it gives it the same appeal. If your in a different country you want to feel like you are..atleast in my opinion.

We were greeted by staff the moment we got off the bus and they explain to go to reception, leave you bag, and a member of staff will carry it up the room for us..instant love for this place we all get treat like royalty! However we are not royalty so we just took our own bags to give the staff a break it was like 2am!

We had a meeting the next day with the reps to gather our bearing, know about the different restaurants, learn about the excursions etc. To our suprise all the managers of the different areas of the hotel also turned up to introduce themselves which i personally thought was a nice touch.

Excursions were booked with ease. Never had any problems bar our last day where we got a driver that was late, twice and quite moody but the boss of the excursions seemed to have firm words with him without us actually saying anything.

The bedrooms were very basic, quite bare but when we walked in they had actually put rose petals on the bed and made the towels into swans and really made it special for us and we were impressed.
There was the odd cracked towel however they are due to refurb in october so all that will be changing.

The pools were incredible..huge and lots of sunbeds for people though unfortunately people would put towels on them at ridiculous times in the morning so you might not always get a good spot.
Pools are extremely cold though but once your in you soon get used to it!

There are 3 restaurants.. moroccan grill, Italian and normal buffet. A lot of variety for the food, and i especially liked the breakfast with there being full english or coissants or fruit so something for everyone. Only thing i would say is it would probably benefit from being a bit warmer as by the time you've found a seat, got a drink and picked the food you want you find your food on the colder side.

The staff are great and there is ALOT of them as soon as you put an empty cup down they get it straight away it's really impressive. As a side note, the language barrier can make things slightly difficult as English is not a main language of theirs they infact speak mainly french however for the most part it's not an issue.

There is a little shop inside the hotel selling cigs, drinks, magazines, souveniers and all that stuff which all comes at a suprisingly good price.

£8 roughly 100 dirhams. £80 roughly £1000.

There is also a salon, prices again are not completely insane however all treatments in a hotel salon can be quite pricey. If you want a nice massage they offer an excursion for a 2 hour massage for roughly £26! Bargain!

The Beach is also about a 3 second walk from the door it is literally next to the beach which is great for anyone into jet skiing or sunbathing, plenty of space.

Overall i would definately recommend this hotel especially for couples or families..maybe not fantastic for the older couples due to the size of the hotel.

Our trip to Morocco -- Agadir

Me and Aaron have just returned from our one week holiday to Agadir, Morocco and we have absolutely loved it!
The weather was blistering heat it was around 38 degrees celcius and with me being so pale i burnt quite badly on the first day but did not let it ruin my holiday!
We went all inclusive and it was brilliant! We stayed at the Riu Tikida Dunas hotel and  it's a 4 star platinum hotel whatever that means but the food and drink was top quality!
We find it pretty impossible to just lounge around all day so we did an excursion about 5 out of the 7 days to get a taste of Morocco..

Day 1 was a chill day and a day to book all our trips!

Day 2 -- Dune Buggies! The funnest thing EVER we both got a chance to drive the buggy and we drove down to the beach, over dunes, saw goats along the way and best of all got to go really fast..
 photo dunebuggies.jpg
Day 3 -- 2 hour argan oil massage all for the price of roughly £26 how amazing is that?! We got to lie next to eachother whilst having it done which we thought would be romantic but just got the giggles ha ha

Day 4 -- Go Karting -- This was ace but by far the scariest for me as you go insanely fast and i spun off on the practice run hitting the edge of the track and didn't dare go fast after that!
 photo ggokart.jpg
Day 5 -- Walk to the Marina -- This is a modern area of shops and cafes which we thought we would like to have a look at. It was a hours walk from our hotel but we didn't really see anything we liked..the walk was nice though!.

Day 6 -- Tree Adventure -- This is where you are attached by a harness doing different activies high up..There are different difficulties but we did get the level 5 (the last level) i started to get really freaked out as its about 15ft in the air and the harness starts to feel not so quite effective when ur so high up! Enjoyed it though!
 photo treeadventure.jpg
Day 7 -- Chill day -- We were returning that day so we relaxed ate and drank a lot of just relaxed untill our flight home :)

Overall i would recommend Agadir as a place to visit, whether you are just wanting to sunbathe all week or do activities like us! Agadir has something for everyone!
